Courtney found Yoga about 15 years ago, and the practice has transformed her life both on and off the mat. She views yoga as an ongoing journey and is passionate about sharing her knowledge and energy with others. She believes the physical and spiritual practice is key to living a happy, vibrant life.

She earned her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification at Dave’s Astanga Yoga and her 300-hour Certification at Modern Yoga Scottsdale, where she is also the Studio Manager and teacher. In her classes, she blends movement with breath and uses unique, mindful transitions and insightful alignment cues, while remaining playful and inspiring.

Courtney strives to strengthen her students’ spiritual and physical practice by focusing on the present. “My goal is to help others enhance their mind, body, and spirit through yoga so that they leave the mat feeling positive and ready to conquer anything!”

Francesca is Florentine born and has been a private tour guide of Florence since 2008. After completing studies in Modern cultures and languages she originally worked on cruise ships until she decided that the time of restless traveling was over, and settled for her love of her hometown Florence and wanted others to see this beautiful city through the eyes of a local.

Francesca is always seeking to improve her knowledge and in the off season attends refresher courses to upgrade her quality of service. The last ones were on scientific museums, Florentine baroque painters, XX century art, medieval architecture in Tuscany, and the XIX century and the period when Florence was Italy’s capital city. There’s so much to know! This year she is attending History of Florence courses at the University of Florence to get her second degree in History. Francesca speaks English, Spanish, German and Italian (of course!). And because she enjoys a challenge she has just started a Hebrew Language course.

“I love being with people and getting to know other cultures and different customs. I am a passionate traveller. I think that traveling is always a mind-opening and enriching experience. I have a true passion for history, especially the history of my city. I believe that it is always possible to learn from the past. I am addicted to the Medici family saga, I love good wine, “croccantino” gelato (a crunchy cream…yummy!), and I am a real foodie… How could it be different living in Italy? You will go back home knowing that you will always have a friend in Florence!”

Tour Curator and Hostess

View Bio

Chelsea was raised on a small piece of farmland right near Plymouth, MA. Whilst always adventurous, her passion for travel didn’t develop until college when a friend convinced her to study abroad. There, in Granada, Spain, she fell in love with the world and exploring other cultures. Each weekend they would take a trip to another city in Europe and always felt like her eyes couldn’t open wide enough to take it all in.

Returning to college, Chelsea finished a double major in Psychology and Spanish while starting a hobby travel blog to recount stories from Europe. After graduation, she moved west to California to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Chelsea has worked in casting, as an agent, as an actress.. but best of all, as a travel host! Hosting a road trip show for Weather Channel, a fun show for Travel Channel, and a few independent projects through South and Latin America.

Simultaneously, the blog had started a life of its own and she began consulting other companies and creating content for a number of publications and sites. When Chelsea isn’t traveling independently, she works on mastering new yoga moves and hiking with her two dogs.
